Rando Fund

The Squadron T-Shirt Quilt was made by grad parent Anne Kush of Marshall, MN (Capt Ben, AFA Class of 2005). Quilt is quilted with silver metallic thread in a swirls and star pattern that is just perfect for the design. The sashing and borders are called “glass prism” and is black and blue. The Print Concepts AF material has the same colors and that was used for the back of the quilt. Binding is done with Robert Kaufman's fusion material. This quilt came together because of the persistent work of Colorado Parents’ Club President, Kathy Symalla who made many trips to AFA to get the missing t-shirts from her C2C Trever Symalla. Quilting was done on an HQ Fusion machine by Liz who owns Bits n Pieces Quilt shop in Pelham, NH. www.bnpoquilts.com
Quilting was provided at no cost because it was a raffle done for a charitable organization. However, Grad Parent and former Rando Fund President, Diane Mackey of Massachusetts (Capt. Justin Mackey AFA Class of 2000), contributed time and effort at the shop to complete the quilt. The Stars and Bars quilt below was made by Diane Mackey. It is made from Robert Kaufman's Fusions 7 line and the backing is white muslin.

Rando Fund Information


The Rando Fund has teamed up with Entertainment Book Company to support Cadets through a fundraiser.
The books will ship the first week of August, but if you are planning on getting a book for COS have it sent to your cadet and you can retrieve it or use it while at PW.

The books are great as gifts, for cadets, family, friends, newlyweds, birthdays, sponsor families, co-workers, coaches, teachers, yourself, etc. Please consider getting books as holiday gifts too! The price is right and there is nothing wrong with helping others save money, and everyone can use the books.

You can pick any books from any city and the Rando fund will get credit. The fundraiser will run through 11/30 and all money will then be sent to the Rando Fund. Anything over 50 books gives the Rando Fund a 50% profit!!!!

Please send this link to anyone and everyone you know because they are also welcome to order and benefit the Rando Fund. We need to make this fundraiser a HUGE success!

The company has a referral program also. Should you know of anyone who wants to use the books as a fund raiser, please refer them because the Rando Fund will get a cash bonus based on those sales too, so please give them the link. More than likely, your schools, local groups, and church groups may consider this item as a fundraiser.
